My goal is to start blogging on here more, and hopefully receive some feedback from you all.
Currently I am 8 weeks out from the June 1, Muslce Mayhem. I am struggling with my body "listening" to what I am trying to accomplish. What I maybe should do is listen to it...With that, I have been studying and researching IF (intermittent fasting).
There are many methods of performing this. So midstream of contest prep, I've done a 360 with my diet and training. We will see if I "heard" my body correctly.
This method goes against everything that I have learned and also share and advise my clients and friends. I do believe there is some great logic behind it though. And as with anything else, it may not work for one person, but will for the next.
So I'm doing my first week of the 20/4, warrior fast. Fast 20 hours, then eat my alloted macro nutrients in the 4 hour time frame.
At one week, I will share what I'm seeing. My studies say, that it will take 1-2 weeks for changes to really occur.
So, stay tuned, and I will keep you posted on how this IF method works for me!
The weather is still nice to get outdoors, get your Vit. D, and go for a walk, jog or run.
